TLS Soccer Team

Our soccer team is for boys, 5th-8th grades. Our coach is Mr. Ryan Kuecker.

Practices

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45-5:00 pm. Our first practice will be Thursday August 20th.

Games

The home team is listed first and will say the prayer and provide the game ball. All league games are played at 12411 Wornall Rd, Kansas City, MO.

5:00 pm-Preseason, non-league game against St. Paul’s, Concordia, MO, at 801 SW 4th St. Concordia, MO 64020.
Thursday, September 3rd–after school. Team and Individual Pictures. There will be practice afterward.

ALL GAMES WILL BE PLAYED 11 ON 11 EXCEPT FOR TEAMS THAT DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH PLAYERS AND AGREE TO PLAY WITH LESS AT GAME TIME. (8V8, 9V9,
10V10)

NFHS RULES APPLY: Ties will be broken by a 5-player shootout with only the players on the field at the end of the game. If the game is still not decided after the 5th player, the game goes into sudden death. Each team may choose any other player on the field to kick. This will continue until everyone has kicked at least once (then it will start over from the 1st kicker and in order from the previous round) or until a winner is decided.

TOURNAMENT RULES: Same rules apply from league play with the exception that a tie game will go to a 10- minute overtime extension (two – 5 minute halves, switch sides at half). If the game is still tied after sudden death there will be a 5- player shootout. The shootout will be done by 5 players that are on the field at the end of the overtime. Players will alternate with the opposing team until all 10 kicks have been taken. If the game is still not decided after the 5th player, the game goes into sudden death. Each team may choose any other player on the field to kick. This will continue until everyone has kicked at least once (then it will start over from the 1st kicker and in order from the previous round) or until a winner is decided.
